One of our projects for 2008 will be the building of the new bunkhouse It may well look like below when completed but this is still work in progress.
Tree Planting
The campsite goes back to mid 1920's and some of the trees planted then need to be replaced to give the woodland cover the site is famed for.
The below video shows the on-going work provided by wardens, helpers, young scouts and others that is needed to keep Ullesthorpe campsite looking at its best planting trees provided free with special thanks from the Woodland Trust.
The project also demonstrated how important the trees & hedgerows are to the site and to teach the younger members the art of planting and maintaining them.
